The Sun posted a photo of the MU star’s 180,000 pound car with 4 yellow tickets, each ticket corresponding to 60 pounds. British media did not say how long Luke Shaw’s Lamborghini Urus was at the train station. He was once seen driving to Carrington training ground. This fine is said to be just “a drop in the bucket” for someone earning a salary of £150,000 per week like Luke Shaw.

The English defender has not played in the Premier League since before Christmas 2023 due to injury. In the 2-2 draw with Tottenham on January 14, Luke Shaw continued to sit out because he was not physically fit to play, forcing coach Ten Hag to use Aaron Wan-Bissaka to play in the left-back position, which is not his forte.

Another MU star who was also fined for parking at the beginning of the new year was striker Marcus Rashford. The 26-year-old striker received a £60 fine after parking his McLaren 765 Long Tail worth £280,000 on two yellow lines. He was fined after going to lunch with teammate Tyrell Malacia. The Sun commented that Rashford also does not care about the fine when he receives a weekly salary of 300,000 pounds.

MU is ranked 7th in the Premier League with 32 points after 21 matches. They have lost 9 matches since the beginning of the season, won 10, drawn 2 and have a goal-loss ratio of -5. On January 28, the Red Devils played at Newport County in the fourth round of the FA Cup, then returned to the Premier League to play Wolves on February 1.
