Nelly lives in a quirky 10,000-square-foot mansion
Inside the 9,000 square foot mansion of the rich and eccentric Nelly?
Cornell Iral Haynes Jr., better known as Nelly, has put his vacant Wildwood, Missouri mansion on the market for a whopping $600,000.
The unexpected offer comes after the 46-year-old rapper sold the property in 2002 with the intention of selling it, but the mansion and planned project remained dormant.
Coming from St. Louis, Nelly originally planned to work with a contractor friend to renovate the house, TMZ reports. However, these renovation proposals never saw the light of day, and over the years the condition of the property gradually deteriorated.
When it was time to find a way to cut losses, the “Ride with Me” rapper decided to part ways with the business venture. The mansion was recently listed for sale for the first time, marking a significant change from its original price of $2,499,000. The exact amount Nelly paid for the property she purchased has not been disclosed.
Built in 1998, the property is conveniently located a short distance from Hidden Valley Ski Resort in Eureka and St. Louis is approximately 30 miles away. The sprawling mansion spans an impressive 10,799 square feet and includes six bedrooms and seven bathrooms. Nestled on a 12-acre site, this estate offers space and tranquility.
The residence is enhanced with various entertainment spaces, including a private basketball court and a three-car garage. Notably, the property offers captivating views of the scenic Meramec River Valley, contributing to its overall appeal.
Nelly’s decision to part with this special estate provides a unique opportunity for potential buyers to acquire celebrity real estate in an idyllic Missouri setting. With its rich history and potential, the mansion attracts those seeking a new canvas for their creative vision.
