ManUtd player suffers from star disease, fights teammates at new club

Hannibal Mejbri was suspended indefinitely for fighting with a teammate at Sevilla.

Hannibal was suspended in Sevilla.

According to Mundo Deportivo, Hannibal Mejbri was removed from the main squad by Sevilla because of his aggressive behavior with teammate Mariano Diaz. This is also the reason why Hannibal was not registered for the match against Atletico Madrid on January 25.

The Tunisian midfielder will continue to be eliminated from the Sevilla squad in the match against Osasuna tomorrow (January 29).

Sharing about the incident, Sevilla coach Quique Sanchez Flores said: “Hannibal needs to know who he is and where he is. We talked to him and believe that Hannibal needs more time to learn. We will Give him some time to reconsider everything. After that, the club will decide whether Hannibal can return to the main squad or not.”

Hannibal was just loaned by MU to Sevilla on January 15. His contract lasts until the end of the 2023/24 season. Coach Erik ten Hag highly appreciates Hannibal’s abilities so he wants to create conditions for this player to play regularly in his new team, thereby accumulating more experience before returning to MU.

To date, Hannibal has only played 29 minutes in La Liga and received one yellow card. After that, he was caught up in a scandal that led to his dismissal from the Sevilla first team. In the worst case, a player born in 2003 could be returned to MU before the loan contract expires.
