Inside Former Lakers Star Russell Westbrook’s $30 Mιllισ𝚗 Los Angeles Mansion

Now that NBA superstar Russell Westbrook has moved into a mansion formerly owned by Formula One racing heiress Petra Ecclestone — directly across the street from his Lakers teammate LeBron James’ primary residence — the popular point guard has officially sold his former home on Los Angeles’ Westside.

Ben Belldegrun, one of four children born to BιIIιоnаιrе biotech entrepreneurs Arie and Rebeckah Belldegrun, purchased the Brentwood Park mansion for exactly $25 мιIIιоn, according to public records. Though this is approximately $5 мιIIιоn less than the original asking price, it is still a significant increase from the $19.8 мιIIιоn that the 34-year-old Long Beach native and his wife Nina Earl paid in the spring of 2018 for their then-new residence.

The three-story structure, designed by Los Angeles architect Ken Ungar and situated on a walled and gated half-acre corner lot, features an all-white stucco exterior accented with masonry and wood. The home, described as “modern traditional” in the listing, has six bedrooms and eight bathrooms spread across a little more than 13,400 square feet of living space, with hardwood, tile, and stone floors, custom moldings and trim, high ceilings, and large windows.

A double-height foyer welcomes guests and connects to formal living and dining spaces. From there, additional first-floor features include a gourmet kitchen with marble slab countertops, a central island, and high-end stainless appliances, as well as a breakfast alcove adjacent to a family room with a wet bar and glass doors leading to a covered patio with a fireplace.

The property’s subterranean level features a family room, another wet bar, a temperature-controlled wine room, a plush movie theatre, a gym, and staff quarters.

The sequestered park-like grounds feature a pool and spa flanked by a sundeck on one side and a vast grassy lawn on the other, as well as a kitchen and barbecue setup for outdoor entertaining. In addition, there is a three-car attached garage and a capacious motor court in the front.
